DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE In
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale we find the Crawley family and their staff as
they enter the 1930s. When Mary finds herself at the center of a public
scandal and the family faces financial trouble, the entire household grapples
with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys
must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter. An elegant and most satisfying farewell to
this beloved series. A breezy, witty
and sparkling drama with a terrific ensemble cast lead by Michelle Dockery
who gives a moving, Oscar-worthy performance. |
ELEANOR THE GREAT After the death of her best friend
and roommate Bessie, Eleanor moves back to New York City to live with her daughter.
Her daughter convinces Eleanor to attend music classes at the Manhattan
Jewish Community Center, but instead Eleanor winds up in a support group for
Holocaust survivors. Encouraged to tell her story, Eleanor decides to tell
them Bessie's story, passing it off as her own. Journalism student Nina is
enthralled by the story and wants to feature Eleanor in an article, but she
declines fearing repercussions. As the two form a bond, Nina persists and
eventually Eleanor agrees to an interview. Eleanor the Great is a poignant
and moving film with June Squibb giving one of the best performances of her
long career. Directorial debut for Scarlett Johansson. |

Metis by shining a new light on the historical and contemporary experience of
Métis people in Canada and providing a space for Métis people to share their

WALKING IN TWO WORLDS This documentary chronicles over 50 years of the W̱SÁNEĆ
School Board’s history (formerly the Saanich Indian School Board). Tracing
the evolution of Indigenous education from the era of the Tsartlip Indian Day
School to the present, celebrating the achievements of the wishes and dreams
of the Elders. The film tells the story of the W̱SÁNEĆ community’s
commitment to supporting their children in learning the SENĆOŦEN
language and W̱SÁNEĆ knowledge systems through an education rooted

SUGARCANE The debut feature documentary from Julian Brave NoiseCat and Emily Kassie. In 2021, evidence of unmarked
graves was discovered on the grounds of an Indian residential school run by
the Catholic Church in Canada. After years of silence, the forced separation,
assimilation and abuse many children experienced at these segregated boarding
schools was brought to light, sparking a national outcry against a system
designed to destroy Indigenous communities. Set amidst a groundbreaking
investigation, SUGARCANE illuminates the beauty of a community breaking
